1965 Ford F100 Factory Short Wide Bed
This truck was a Colorado barn find, it was parked since the 90’s, took 10 years for my brother to buy this truck from the original owner’s family. It took me 6 months and some creative trading to get it from him, my shop spent the time to bring this truck back from the dead into what you see today. The picture of the truck on the trailer is how I got it. This truck is now a daily driver, we repaired everything that needed attention. This is one of the best running/driving/handling old trucks I’ve ever driven, it’s so much fun. Please watch the entire video and view all the pictures on the link, it’s part of the item description, much more detail articulated there. I have the original sales slip and associated paperwork with the truck. 85XXX original miles.

MECHANICAL
The inline 6 was rebuilt in the 90’s and new clutch, very few miles on it since. Compression and leak down tested perfect. We replaced the water pump, fuel pump, hoses, belt, battery and terminals, radiator cap, plugs/wires/cap/rotor/points, rebuilt the carburetor etc. Brand new complete exhaust, brake system rebuilt, wheel bearings re-packed, greased new oil, synthetic gear oil in the transmission and rear axle. Radiator boiled out, fuel tank was stored dry, we did flush it. New Hankook retro tires on the original wheels that were media blasted and painted with PPG two stage wheel paint. New repop stainless hub caps (5th one new in box included)
BODY
The body is 100% original paint, minimal rust. We spent 67 hours cleaning, cutting and polishing the paint to get this original patina look. No body panel appears to have been removed other than the grill and bumper I removed to polish. Glass is good, everything works. Please check out all the pictures, can’t really point out every flaw on a 52 year old un-restored truck.
This truck runs, drives, handles excellent for what it is. I’ve been cruising at 65-70mph on my interstate several times with a smile on my face, the entire truck is incredibly tight. I will sell the truck for $15,000 very firm to the 1st local or long distance buyer willing to pay for it. I’ve sold a lot of cars on eBay, ½ the time the buyer does not come through and eBay does not return fees, so after loosing thousands over the years, I go with the 1st guy/gal that pays for the truck. I accept bank to bank wire transfer to my US Bank business account or cash in person only. I have a clear/clean WA state title in hand, in my wife’s name. I have an excellent shipping broker whom I can put you in contact with. The truck and papers only leave my property when payment is made in full and cleared. I’m a licensed vintage auto appraiser, I find no offense in you hiring someone like me to inspect this truck during not after the auction. Thanks!
