1959 Ford F-250 Custom Additional Info:

I'm relisting because of listing as a shortbed. Someone called me out on this and I can't blame them. Sorry for the confusion. And thanks to the people from the EBAY community that also pointed it out to me.
Up for sale is my very rare first year of production 1959 F250 4x4. It has 4 speed on the floor. The wheels are a one of a kind Custom made Weld Wheels and a lift kit was installed. The truck has an older restoration and makes for a great driver condition. This truck is not museum perfect but I would not of bought it if it was a cobble up heap. Yes, it has bondo but I consider it a very solid truck {not a rust bucket} for its era. I am a accomplished bodyman/restro/mechanic guy even though I retired from the insurance industry. I drive the truck occasionally 30-40 miles in a trip and reach speeds of 55mph with no issues. I'm going to guess that the motor is a 292 and never confirm if it is the original.
I have the original Kansas Tax Bill of Sales and it goes like this. The truck was bought for $2400 {MSRP was $1600 to $1800} from James Campbell in Oak Grove Missouri, I'm guessing the dealership installed the 4 wheel drive and off went the truck to Edna Kansas. Obviously since Ford announced 4x4 were available but not all F250 came from the factory the first year with that option, yet. So dealers installed those for the customers at their request. This is not a NAPCO conversion. It has a Dana 24 divorce transfer case and Ford differentials. I have the original Ford Dealer's 1959 Service Policy and Owner's Manual.Overall the truck is in great shape considering what farmer's bought these truck for! To use!
The truck bed has been overlaid with plate steel and has bed liner spray applied. Looking underneath you can still see the original bed floor. It has a full floating rear end assy which is standard on 3/4 ton pickup for that era. I replaced one of the rear axles seals which is easy with full floating assy's. I also had the front drive shaft rebuilt completely. The 4 wheel drive works and looks like the Warn hubs are original{have the original warranty}. There is a tach in the dash which were made for larger Fords of that era and require a mechanical tach drive distributor which is like finding a dinosaur egg;} But looks cool!. Manual brakes and steering. It has 2016 Missouri State inspection and license. I have the original Bill of Sales from the Dealership for add on AM radio, $49. I have the radio but during the restoration someone decided to cover the radio open in the dash.
So if your looking for something rare here it is. I own several vehicles and will be posting 1960 restored Elky,1962 Willy wagon,1959 4x4 Chevy 3600, 1971 ford Ranchero,1977 XLCR Harley D,,all restored. I'm getting too old and have too many toyz! When you also own 2 new mustangs with combined 1900 Horses,,,,Why crawl when you can Fly;}
The truck is for sale locally and reserve the right to cancel/remove/end at anytime before or after auction.
