1923 Ford “T-Bucket Hot Rod” BIG supercharger on a small block motor!!! Crazy looking and amazing performing Hot Rod!
Vin T766412828
Hot Rods are a uniquely American institution; this style of car, having been with us since the end of world war II. The idea of shoehorning a HUGE american V8 engined into a small ford chassis has been with us for generations. A culture has grown around these cars, and when you drive one, you are absolutely screaming “AMERICA”!! The look and sound of these cars is amazing and offer instant celebrity status wherever you go!!
The car on offer here is a 1923 Ford Model T-"Bucket" roadster. The car is registered in Connecticut as a 1923 Ford. The car was fanatically built, and is well sorted. The body is fiberglass and the yellow paint is excellent. The motor is a Chevrolet 350 built with a Weiand 6-71 Blower and Edelbrock dual quad carburetors!! WOW! Backing this power plant is a smooth shifting Turbo Hydramatic 350 3-speed automatic transmission. The power is fed to the ground via a Ford 9in Rear end and Posi Traction rear end. If this is your first exposure to the hot rod culture, the Positraction is a limited slip differential that allows the power to be better applied to the ground; Two wheel burnouts are a cinch!! This T-Bucket can be makes a great sound through the dual Jett coated side pipe headers. The car has disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. Full instrumentation including directionals, tack and all gauges. The car has vintage Cragar wheels shod with Huge Mickey Thompson tires; the car makes a tremendous “Hot Rod” statement and draws a crowd wherever it goes (isn't that what a car like this is really all about??). The Red vinyl interior offers and excellent contrast with the yellow car and pinstriping sets off the rest of the car. The car is well sorted and drives and performs as would be expected. Recent work includes all new stainless fuel lines. It is incredibly fast and fun to drive. It comes with a Clean Connecticut title, but please make sure the car can be titled in your state BEFORE bidding on this car.
