1986 Ford Mustang Additional Info:

1986 V8 Mustang convertible! Although this car is not perfect it's a great platform, straight body with no rus, no major dents and no bondo . The only major exterior flaw is the missing door trim on the drivers side door . This has a 302 5.0 engine converted to an edelbrock carbureted setup with aluminum edelbrock intake manifold. The A/C compressor was removed during the conversion so this car has no A/C . I've added a 3000 cfm electric fan to keep it cool in traffic . The transmission is a C6 automatic with a newly installed B&M hammer shifter built specifically for fox body mustangs with a reverse and park lock out to prevent accidental shifts to park and reverse . It's a ratchet style shifter that can be put in drive to drive the car like a normal automatic or you can bang your own gears . It really makes this car fun to drive ! Fresh tune up with new plugs and wire, the oil and filter got replaced and compression in all 8 cylinders is between 115 and 125 PSI . New water pump and thermosta, new fuel filter and electric pump and the tires are In near new condition. The interior is in pretty good shape for a convertible, a little sun faded but no major tears in the upholstery, power windows and top all wor, the top will need replaced or repaired . The back window is broke and there is a tear on the top . Car runs and drives very nic, no rattles or clunks and it handles well . The tachometer works but it not accurat, also the speedometer is about 10mph off . Enjoy the summer sun and turn some heads while you're cruising the streets In this mean little car !
