1955 Ford Fairlane CHROME Additional Info:
Restored driveline, Rebuilt motor 272 cu in V8, Rebuilt trans with overdrive, New Clutch, New Exhaust, Disc brake conversion, Elect fuel pump, Carb rebuilt, Pertronix Ignation, New heater motor. Floors replaced, dynamatt like insulation thought, New Interior, Window frames sandblasted and painted, Rear seat frames and rear compartment all blasted and painted, New weather stripping and window channeling, New inside door handles, original dash and chrome all in good condition, gauges work, Gas tank cleaned and new sending unit installed, Rewired and converted to 12 volts, Restored steering wheel. The car was found in Concord C.A. sitting in a driveway for 30 years, the guy I bought the car from did most of the mechanical and I did the paint, I kept the Bettina on the hood and painted the rest to look old then clear coated it, the white is matt finished. I have paint for the car and matt clear that will go with it. Thisis one of the coolest cars I have owned, it took first place last yearin a local show, I did all the work on it myself but I can't do it again my back got hurt in the crash and at 72yrs old you don't heal to fast. If its not restored there are a lot of great parts on this car either way I hope it goes to a good home. Good Luck
