This is a very special Mustang convertible that has been modified with all the best stuff. here is a small sample of the installed goodies:
All OEM Saleen body, including a RARE Phil Frank Extract air hood, RARE Speedster cover (factory cover is included also) correct bumpers and side skirts along with the S351 rear spoiler (comes with the S281 wing in yellow also) and 18X9/10 wheels, Continental tires (new) Tribute badges, and plaques.This car has a factory built 10,000 mile Cobra drivetrain including motor, trans, rear, brakes, interior, etc. Magnaflow exhaust, FMS 94-95 headers, Saleen wires, CAI, etc.
Full period correct Alpine stereo, Alpine alarm that rolls the windows up and down, unlocks/locks, etc.
Gear ratios are as follows: FMS/Cobra clutch 8.8 3:73 rear. FMS T5 with the 2.95 1st and close ratio. Car gets 20MPG down the highway and cruises with the best of them. Nothing like a Speedster with exhaust on a warn night to get you excited for a long drive.
This car came to me as a "real" Saleen, upon good research I found it was just assembled using all OEM Saleen stuff and is what is considered to be a catalog build. I had a very low mile Cobra complete setup and installed everything is this to make a one off kind of Mustang. This car turns heads, runs and drives better than new, and will make the new owner very proud.
