This is a nicely done, some what a rare street rod. A quick note on 35 Ford history. Visually, the 1935 Ford was much more modern with the grille pushed forward and made more prominent be de-emphasized and more-integrated fenders. A major advance was a true integrated trunk on "trunk back" sedans, though the traditional "flat back" or slant back was also offered. The Victoria body was deleted for this year.
This cars body was professionally restored to very good standards. The doors and hood fits nicely. The top has a soft top insert. The insert has been updated with modern material. The running boards have been shaved. The chrome and stainless on the car have been restored as needed. New glass has also been installed.
The paint is modern basecoat clear coat type paint. The paint has been nicely applied and polished to a nice shine. Good attention to detail was use inthe painting of the door jamb areas and also on the firewall.The interior is very nice. The interior was done with a nice soft material that appears to be ultra leather. The interior has a comfortable modern appearance.
The dash is nicely finished. the gauges have been updated to VDO gauges. A modern chrome, tilt, Ididit steering column has been installed and Vintage Air has been added.
The drive line is a 350Chevy crate engine with Ram Jet fuel injection. The automatic transmission is a 700 R4, Rear end is a 9" ford. Front disc brakes and a Mustang ll front suspension.
