1973 Ford Mustang Base Convertible 2-Door Additional Info:
Non paying bidders are ruining ebay - so I've decided to drop my reserve and list this as a STEAL with a buy it now - my loss is your gain!
This 1973 Mustang has the last of the big boy 351 Cleveland motors in her - the previous owner had the motor overhauled and it is very powerful. There is an interesting story behind this Mustang - the previous owner bought it from Miami on eBay as well. He purchased it for $18,000 and immediately drove it to a local speed shop here in Orlando and dropped another $5,000 to make it completely safe for his elderly wife to drive it on the weekends.
The vehicle is driven every day and starts right up, stops on a dime and has (knock on wood) never given me a problem whatsoever.

As you can see from the pictures, she looks like a million bucks - but keep in mind, she has had some work done on her way before my time and the old restoration is beginning to show- there are the typical nicks and chips here and there. The paint, although stunning from 10 feet, is starting to show it's age as well. Keep in mind, this is a 44 year old classic car that we drive every single day. This isn't a trailer queen that is going to cost you $25,000 just so it can be stored away and never enjoyed.
She has had her interior dyed black over the years and although it still is in great shape, there are spots that need to be retouched here and there. The motor is solid and as I said before, pretty darn fast! I have noticed a few drops of oil here and there - I'm no mechanic but I think she's in need of valve cover gaskets possible (?). The AC was converted over to R134a and blows ICE COLD here in Florida - I have a brand new fan blower to go with her as the original one likes to whine for the first minute when you turn on the air.
All gauges work. All lights work as well as blinkers but reverse lights need to be hooked back up - the undercarriage has a few spots that I could see - NPD and other places sell any patch pieces for real inexpensive - the trunk looks nice and has the classic Ford plaid trunk mat.
I have a clean Florida title in my name in my hands - this car is for sale locally as well.
Please email me with ANY and ALL questions PRIOR to bidding. I am NOT a body guy nor am I a mechanic, I just love to drive old classic cars with my family!
Thank you and GOOD LUCK!
