I bought this car to fix up to keep and use as my every day small pick-up for my business for something interesting instead of a regular pick-up.Fixed the floors correctly welding in panels etc. All solid now, and one section of the right bed wheel well as well. All steel. No plastic. Repaired right. All the hard work is done. I was fixing it up for a reliable ride. Has the largest engine available that year with a three speed automatic, and Ford 9" Rear!!Then without looking, a 78' GT with roll up windows, and A/C and fell into my lap and I fell for that car. Can't keep them both so one has to go.This Ranchero 500 is now very solid, and runs great! Rebuilt original 2bbl carb only because there was a leak in the power valve area and I repaired it. Drives very sound. Power windows work great. dash pad and door panels are good for a driver. Gauges work good too. The clock is still working. Original AM/FM 8 Track radio is in the car but doesn't work. All glass is good. Good headliner. The vinyl top was removed and sprayed black for now. This car sits and rides right. Doors close great without sagging. Straight body. Good exhaust. Factory A/C needs charging. Compressor kicks in when turned on. Lower doors skins need some attention in spots. Just the skins. Brakes feel good. Tires have decent tread. This car would be a great advertising vehicle for a business. Just wrap it and put wheels on it, and spray on bed liner. Would look great. Great driver as is or clean it up further. Used blue carpet and pads go with the car..........This car is for sale locally as well and seller reserves the right to cancel auction if sold locally before it is sold.......Have clear title and receipts to go with the car.$1,000.00 non refundable deposit sent overnight Red is due at time of winning bid to hold the car.
