1942 Ford Other Additional Info:
1942 Ford GPW WWII jeep in good condition.
This jeep would be great for reenactors or off roaders. Its not a beauty queen but its never broken down on my or left me in the bush.
Mechanically the engine/tranny/transfer case are rock sold.
Included (but not pictured)
SPARE TIRE on proper combat rim
Canvas seat back for driver and rear passenger (I took the drivers cushion off to give more belly room) and the rear seat cushions are off because I need the room and the seat is rarely down.
Engine hand crank.
COMPLETE chassis ground kit (just never installed it)
The bad:
The water temp gauge is repro and previous owner tried to patch the hole... poorly. Water temp gauge works, but is black, not green.
Speedometer works, but odometer does not. Odomoter numbers are gone. Speedo numbers are fine.
Front passenger CV joint clicks in reverse... usually means it needs replaced.
Trailer wiring not hooked up but trailer socket and guard in place.
No shovel or axe.
This jeep is driven weekly in the spring/summer/fall and mechanically is in great condition. Engine was rebuilt (pistons .060 over, mains .50 over, rods .40 over).
Can store jeep for 7 days after auction. No more.
If you need any specific photos/details let me know. I can honestly say I touched every nut and bolt in every part of this jeep.
