2 Door Ranch Wagon Ford 1956

Solid project car, all body and interior panels are complete. Front fenders, grill, bumpers, hood are all there. 100% of the glass and trim is in excellent condition. Very hard to find original rear sliders. Firewall is solid. No sizable dents on the body panels. This is the original color but not the original paint. I am not an expert on this body style so what is shown in the pictures is what's there.

No motor and transmission.Someone had a 460 & C10 when I bought the car.Car is covered regularly.

Florida title in hand & vin tag is on the car. Please look closely at the pictures. There is rust that is reparable or replaceable.Re pops and NOS are available.I was going to go pro-touring with Coyote gear.Different plans, this is a hard to find unmolested piece.

I made a mistake in the vin number. I entered a vin from one of my old motorcycles. The correct Vin is M6RR131136. The car comes with both Thunderbird emblems.
According to some quick online research after a phone call I found the following:
Ford Motor Company's "Y-block" engine family began with the overhead-valve (OHV) V8 introduced in the 1952 Lincoln. A 239.4cid version of the OHV V8 was introduced for the 1954 Fords. This engine grew to 272cid in 1955 (with a larger 292cid version reserved for that year's Thunderbird and Mercury models.) In 1956, the 292cid "Thunderbird" engine became the standard V8 in all Ford wagons and Fairlane models. Late in the model year, the Thunderbird Special 312cid V8 became an option. The same eye-catching "Thunderbird V8" front fender emblems were used on all V8 wagons, regardless of engine choice.
