1922 Ford Model T Additional Info:
This is a 1922 Model T Pickup. I'm not completely sure of the year as I have not been able to verify it. It was restored in the late 70's/early 80's by my father and was running at that time. It has been in storage ever since. It is not currently running. The handcrank will turn the engine (it's not frozen) but it doesn't feel like it has compression. Don't know why except that it probably doesn't have any oil in it? Engine and transmission are complete. Body and chassis are also complete. It has a set of gas, oil, and water cans on the passenger side running board along with the tool box. I suspect there are tools in the tool box but I haven't been able to get it open. I didn't want to destroy it to get in it. There is minimal surface rust on the body and other exposed metal parts. The tires are flat but it will roll and steer. We have pushed it around. It is currently in a storage locker in Ozark, Mo, and we are moving. I don't want to take it with us. It must be picked up in Ozark by the end of May. I do not have the key. It is equipped with the electric start feature that came out I believe in 1923. It also has the original oil lamp headlights as well as some electric ones. There are an additional 2 wheels that come with it. One is pretty useless but the other is completely serviceable. I am already moved out of state and will have to return to complete the sale in person. I can arrange for you to meet with someone at the storage place to see it if you wish. I can also arrange for additional pictures to be taken possibly if needed. Once when I was moving it I forgot that the top was not attached and it fell off. It was slightly damaged. One spine in the roof broke and one small wooden side attachment piece will have to be remade. I do not have a title. I don't know if it ever had one. I guess it did, it has an old 1956 license plate on it. You'll get a bill of sale which I can have notarized if you wish. Once paid for, you can haul it away or leave it at the storage facility until the 30th. At that time, I'm moving out so you'll have to have it picked up or pay the storage until you can get it out. If you have any further questions, please let me know. The reserve is reasonable and if we don't meet it, we'll talk.
