1930 Ford Model A Additional Info:
This is a 1930 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan with a Clear Original Title and has been restored and is in very Good Condition. The body was taken off and prepped and painted and reinstalled back on the frame WITH NEW Piping between fenders and where needed. We had ALL NEW Correct Reproduction Wiring that was color coded and Correct from front to back. It has had All NEW Wood, NEW Interior, NEW Headliner all still like NEW and NEW Vinyl Top along with a NEW Rubber Floor Mat. Also had NEW 6 Volt Battery Last Year and we keep it at full charge every few months. (The black battery access cover you see sitting on the interior floor mat is removed for quick access because we disconnect the battery over the winters as to keep a full charge on the 6 Volt Battery every few months.) The power train was repaired per it's needs along with NEW Firestone Tires, Tubes/Liners INCLUDING the NEW Spare to match. The Wheels and Spokes are in Excellent condition and Tight with no problems. The Only Non Original update we did was to install NEW Cast Iron Brake Drums and NEW Comp Shoes for better stopping power and everything else that was used was original or quality Model A replacement, which ever was available.
We also had the Fuel Tank stripped and Pressure tested for NO future worry's because the steering wheel bracket is part of the tanks on Model A's and was a concern to us for future reliability and worry free problems. That is VERY IMPORTANT on these cars from 28-31 as their is almost always an issue with the gas tanks being patched or goobered up by some nitwit. Their generally fixed improperly because of the expense which is usually about $400 just to have them checked out and repaired correctly if needed as they have to be stripped. Make sure you watch that whichever Model A you BUY as it is a BIG JOB just to remove it and put it back in not counting any issues the tank may have and then having to have it repainted as it is part of the exterior and has to be painted body color. This ones DONE already.
It is a Very Nice Driver Quality 1930 Model A and very enjoyable to drive. It is an All Steel Original Henry Ford body with normal wear/tear, small paint chips/scratches on front fenders only from age since restoration, NO fiberglass body parts here. This was from eastern Oregon Dry country so was pretty rust free accept for bottom driver door. Sitting this winter Driver door now shows small sign of 10 year old spot/repair and may need attention down the road if your finicky, however the body overall is Still all Nice.
This Model A 2dr is driven religiously in the summer time as much as weather permit's for Car shows and sunny days being it's a Nice driver and taken Very good care of. The single stage paint needs a good waxing or fluff and buff as it is a little dull sitting in the shop as it hasn't been waxed since last spring. The Horn was stolen a couple years ago at a Car show and we didn't replace it as these days I would imagine it would just happen again.
The Tudor still has it's Original Door Lock system on it so the drivers door locks with it's slide lock and the passenger door locks/unlocks by the key. That was how they were as everyone got out on the passenger side of the car in the old days so they wouldn't have to step in the muddy streets. As you may or may not know, most places didn't have asphalt streets to step out on back then, like I said, an Original piece of our History.

Make Sure you Find a Reputable Insured Carrier for your Own Piece of Mind and Ours or you can come and get it and drive it home. We have taken VERY good care to keep it a NICE Original STEEL BODY Vintage specimen. It's modest restoration cost we will settle for should be enough too see it will stay together for a piece of our history for future generations as they aren't making anymore of them. If you want a hot rod, go buy a bunch of aftermarket body parts as their is an unlimited supply and put one together for about $40k, you'll enjoy it just as much as an Original Body. You can then take it to your State Patrol and have them issue a phony little Vin tag for a made up hot rod and not destroy a piece of our history. We cannot guarantee delivery by your Carrier to get it too your door so there is no warranty expressed or implied.
