Southgate auto center is very proud to present this extraordinarily clean 1989 Ford F1 50 XLT lariat 4 Wheel Dr. This truck was bought from an estate sale, from where the previous elderly owner had parked the truck in his carport, he passed away in 2013. The truck had been setting approximately five years before that, and suffered from non-use. We replaced the fuel tank, fuel filter, and fuel pump. We retuned the engine, and replaced any necessary mechanical components. That included replacing the starter, and alternator. We checked to make sure the brakes were all working properly and replaced the tires with a new set of 265-75-15" tires. We have had this truck on our rack and inspected it for rust issues. The floor and underneath of this truck are impeccable. Very minor surface rust on the frame itself but nothing of consequence. The cab corners are solid the tailgate and hood have no rust which is common on these vehicles. This truck has the 351 V8 automatic with lock out front hubs. The four-wheel-drive works great goes in and out of four wheel drive with ease. This truck is totally original it has not been repainted, and the interior is factory original. The truck shows 39,000 miles and if you looked at it you would believe it but we do not make any such claims. The mileage is unknown to us. This truck starts easily and runs very smooth down the highway. There is no front end play, or rattles and shakes of any sort. The bed of this truck is almost perfect it will confirm that there has been very little hauling done so it has not been abused at all.
