1970 Ford Mustang 2-door convertible Additional Info:
This is a 1970 Mustang convertible, with 74k original miles, that has been off the road, since 1979, or 1980, stored mostly in a dry barn for those 37 years. I have never had it running, but the engine turns over by hand. The car does need inner rocker panels, and floors, BUT the rear frame rails, and the front frame rails, forward of the firewall are in great shape. I tried to take pictures of all the usual problem areas, to show how nice the underside is. (aside from the center section) Even the inner and outer wheel wells seem good. There is some filler in the lower rear quarters, but there doesn't seem to be any on the rest of the rear quarters. I forgot to take pictures of the inside of the trunk, but I didn't see ANY rust holes in the trunk. I think most of the body panels could be worked with, if you didn't want to replace them. I think the hood should be replaced, because it looks like a mouse made a nest in the front of the hood, and rusted out the underside. The tail light panel should be replaced as well, because there is a big dent, right in the middle of it. The only parts that I see missing, are the driver's side outer mirror, the air cleaner, the bottom of the rear seat and one hubcap. The driver's side door glass is broken as well, but I have another one for it. The last owner, lost the keys, so they had to break the ignition switch, to be able to steer it. I DO have the old title to go with it. It was most recently registered in NH, and NH, doesn't have titles for cars over 15 years old, the title that goes with it, is a NH title, from 1978. The car DOES need to be paid for, in 14 days, but can sit there for 30 days. It will roll fine, for loading. The car is located in Westford Mass. right off of 495. You are more than welcome to go look at it, or send someone to look at it. You can call me at 1-401-871-6333, if you have any other questions.
