1934 Ford Other Additional Info:
Available for sale today is a rare bird, an original Henry steel 34 Ford 3W coupe built a few years ago in the traditional style, no billet. The gorgeous sheet metal is still mounted on its' original, now boxed chassis still exhibiting the original vin number exactly as it was stamped in 1934. a stock, smooth and quiet running Chevrolet 350 4BBL engine connected to an equally smooth 350 Turbo transmission which is column shifted and cooled by a separate frame mounted cooler. All this turns a stock Ford 9" rear with 3:00 gears, 11 inch drum brakes on parallel leaf springs. Front suspension is traditional dropped I-beam with hairpins and large Chevrolet disc brakes. Steering is handled by an easy and smooth Uni-steer box. Excellent radiator, alternator, mechanical fuel pump, electronic ignition and Edelbrock carburetor all work well. Battery is Optima with a remote disconnect and all gauges function as intended. Lights are all original Ford with the original stainless fronts now equipped with Drake HID bulbs along with signal/park units. The top is filled but not chopped and the tilt out windshield, cowl vent and all windows work as intended. Safety lock pins are installed in the door jams, there is no heater or AC but a stereo is in the glove box. This car is a pleasure to drive and will not disappoint. Paint has the intentional patina look and is done well, exhaust is quiet(maybe too quiet) and the car even gets exceptionally good fuel mileage. Title is a clear NYS title/transferable registration showing the original vinnumber in the sellers name, no title games played here. The clean and clearly visible vin number should satisfy any DMV in the country. Not looking for trades on this one and as always, no test pilots. Currently licensed and insured in NY test rides given weather permitting. Thanks
