This is a one owner 100% rust free 1980 Ford F-250 Camper Special 4x4.
The truck starts right up and runs well. The transmission shifts fine into all gears and the 4x4 engages properly. This is an original California truck since new and is a true survivor. ALL of the paint is original and completely untouched. The body, chassis and frame are 100% original without a single spec of rust or repair. The paint has a lovely patina and some really cool psychedelic fading and discoloration on the hood. No accidents or dents other than a small dent on the drivers door which should be able to be removed by a paintless dent specialist (see pics). The truck is so honest and original looking, it is truly amazing! Even the faded original pin-striping is still present. The rear bumper needs to be adjusted and all of the chrome is shiny. All trim and is present and the truck does not have any missing or incomplete parts.
-Rare turbine "Shelby" wheels, tires are old and cracked
-Beautiful original bed/paint is also in great shape without any significant damage
The 400 c.i. 6.6 lt engine starts right up and sounds healthy. The truck has been sitting for awhile and has had a recent carburetor rebuild. A tune up would definitely be the next order of business with this unit along with going thru the suspension (bushings, rubber accessories, and so on and so forth) as everything appears to be original and ready t be refreshed. The brakes stop the truck fine, however it is an original truck and in order to be mechanically tip top certain things she be brought up to modern day standards. Has factory air conditioning (no belt-needs service).
The interior is really nice for being nearly 40 years old. All seat upholstery looks amazing and is original showing minimal wear.
What you're buying here is a perfectly rust free original paint F-250 that runs well and looks better than most newer trucks. With that being said the new owner will be very happy with the overall condition of this fine California survivor.
Due to the high dmv back fees for not being registered for so long, this truck will only be available to no California buyers.
