1970 Ford Mustang BOSS Additional Info:
This is a serious auction. The reserve is very low. Please ask questions before bidding. Make sure you have funds available before bidding.
After many years of ownership, I'm selling my prized Mustang. According to the Marti Report, this Mustang Fastback started life as a Special Grabber Edition (only 5,120 made in 1970 in all colors) and was originally Grabber Blue. The car spent most of it's life in Arizona, so it is completely rust free and laser straight. All floors, torque boxes, trunk and everywhere is rust free. Car was painted about 6 years ago and is just as nice today as it was then. Paint job is very, very good. The body and paint is very close to flawless.
You can call it a Clone or Tribute, but I have spent many hours studying Boss 302's and have duplicated the iconic style everywhere possible. At shows, even the Mustang guys are surprised to learn it's a tribute Boss. Attention to detail shows everywhere on this car.
Car now has a fairly stock, but strong running, 351 Cleveland, equipped with Boss valve covers, aluminum intake, Holley 4 barrel carburetor and Shaker scoop. Motor smokes a little after sitting because of valve seals. Has Toploader 4 speed with correct new Hurst shifter and correct Boss T-Handle, 9" rear end w/Traction lock with 3.50 gears. This car has black interior which is very close to perfect. The engine compartment is fully detailed. The rear end is all brand new and fully detailed, All four springs and most all suspension is new.
Has brand new Magnum 500's with BF Goodrich TA radials.
This car is still almost 50 years old and needs a little "tinkering". The speedometer only bounces, the period correct, AM/FM radio is in the dash, but not wired up and the heater is not connected as I only drive in perfect weather. As with all used cars, sold as-is with no warranty implied.
You won't find a cleaner and straighter body on a 1970 fastback.
