1927 Ford Other Additional Info:
Up for sale is my street rod that I built starting from frame rails and body from Speedway back in early 2012. This car was a culmination of everything I wanted in a street rod after years of drag racing and having other hot rods. No expense was spared. I wanted the best stuff I could buy in this car. The engine is a GM 496 with all the best stuff...Eagle forged rotating assembly and AFR heads. Roller cam with Jessel shaft rockers. The engine was professionally assembled and dyno'd by NYES making 740hp on 93 pump gas. The trans is COAN built turbo 400 with all their goodies to make it dependable. The rear is a Moser built/assymbed 9 inch with 3.50 gears and spool. Ive put just under 2200 mi total on the car with the whole drive line has less than 1000 mi on it and needless to say the car has been meticulously maintained. The car has never been down the track but makes around 750hp and weighs about 2150lbs so one can do the math. As they say, a picture says a 1000 words so Ill let the pictures speak for the car regarding the rest of the details. I have untold amounts of money in this car but have driven it less than 300 mi last year and am making room for a more family friendly hot rod. The paint isn't perfect (little rock chips and some scratches on the grille shell) but overall is very nice. This car is very drivable down the street or on the interstate but is a serious car for a serious car guy only. It will drive in the summer heat all day long without overheating in traffic or on the interstate and does nothing stupid. Any questions, give me a message, text, or call (765)749-4722. Please serious buyers with available funds only. BTW this car is titled as a model year 1927 so i run an antique plate and have very cheap full coverage insurance/registration. Also, it likely wouldn't be subject to stringent smog standards due to this.
