Up for auction is a sweet 1961 Ford Galaxie 352 Cubic Inch Tri-Power 4 Speed Car that looks and drives smooth and quick. The Interior is original and has a couple of small split seams in the front bottom seat. It's been that way since I've had the car ( I take great care getting in and out of the front seat ). The rest of the seats are in great shape.This Galaxie is a blast to drive and show because the Ford's are now getting the nostalgic attention that was always with Chevy's. A 1961 Big Block 4 speed Chevy in this condition would sell for 2 or 3 times what this Galaxie will sell for. The Tri-Power is all ford correct as is the 4 Speed which is a T-10 Borg Warner. In 1961 Ford only offered these High Performance options as dealer installed and the Tri-Power and 4 speed were delivered from the Ford Plant to the dealer in the trunk. This Galaxie has been a blast for me with attention everywhere and I drive or show it, I live in Reno Nevada and participate in Hot August Nights every year some pictures are from last year.
