Up for auction is an absolutely immaculate 1993 Ford F250 XLT 7.3 Turbo Diesel 4x4 with a 5 speed manual transmission. This is a two owner truck and has been owned by elderly men its entire life. The second owner purchased the truck from the original owner, who was his next door neighbor, in 2001. At 91 years old, the second owner can no longer drive and decided to sell the truck. Both owners stored the truck in covered carports since 1993. This truck is in unbelievable condition and is truly like new both inside and out. The truck is fully loaded with power windows, power locks, power lumbar seats, cruise control, tilt wheel, A/C, and dual tanks. The interior is flawless and does not show any wear whatsoever. The dash was covered with a dash mat since new and is not faded or cracked anywhere. The original radio and speakers still remain in the truck and sound excellent. The carpets and original floor mats do not have one stain or cigarette burn anywhere. The seats appear as though they were never sat in and do not have any wear. The headliner is not sagging anywhere and the driver's side sun visor still has all of the original safety decals on it. The ashtray is unused and appears as new. The paint on this truck is 100% original and is virtually flawless. There are a few fine scratches on the top of the tailgate, one chip in the paint on the rear of the cab on the driver's side, and one chip in the paint that was touched up on the passenger front fender. The truck was fitted with the bug shield, full length running boards, and mud flaps since new, so the paint has been protected from any kind of road chips one would usually find on these trucks. The body is perfect, not having a single dent anywhere. The body gaps are very even throughout and the doors, hood, and tailgate open and close like a brand new car. This truck does not have one bit of rust anywhere. The body is completely solid and all of the floor pans, door bottoms, tailgate, bed, and fenders appear as new. The frame and suspension components are very dry and only show a small amount of surface rust underneath. The transfer case and the bottom of the motor are very clean and have hardly any grease buildup on them. This truck runs and drives as well as it looks. The engine is very quiet for an early diesel engine and still retains the original exhaust system. The transmission shifts smoothly and does not pop out of gear under acceleration. The clutch engages well and has lots of life left. The 4x4 engages smoothly and the lights still illuminate on the dash when engaged. The original Ford automatic front hubs still remain on the truck. Included with the sale are all of the original Ford F Series owner's manuals, pamphlets, warranty registration card, and the original plastic emergency key all inside of the original vinyl carrying case. This truck is likely one of the cleanest, most original trucks of this era and will not disappoint. If you are in the market for an early 7.3 Turbo Diesel pickup, this is the one!
