1965 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACKRagon red/ black interior. 289CI,5 speed, front discs brakes. Original panel rust free car. If you are looking for a restored car this is not it... This Mustang started as a 6 cly. 3 speed (I have the original transmission) itcame from Arizona in 1983 has had the same owner since we purchased it locally last year. It was repainted in 1987 singe stage poppy red, original J code Ragon red (havethe bill for thepaint job). A 289 was built for the car, and the 5 speed installed in 1992, (have most all receipts) and front discs brakes. 15 inch aluminum wheels, good tires. It has its original sheet metal panels.

Pictures lie. it has dents and a lot of chips and surface scratches (a lot of chips touched up) and stained surfacepaint.All body gaps are all nice, doorsand windows open and shut great.The floor, trunk, cowl, shock towers, door jams lower doors,sheet metal is rust free, has never had any repairs,has underside surface rust, (only rust through is below gas pedal on body floor 3 inch seam, and two spots on right lower door).Its been a long long time since I have seen one this original nice. The paint has a nice shine and looks goodfrom 25 feet. Starts,(manual choke), idles,drives, steers, shifts, rides, brakes, like a 1965 car. Horns are missing, blinker switch is broken off, but has a switch on lower dash for blinkers. rear back up lights don't work. windshield has a chip. Drive as is, and restore down the road.

Since we purchasedthismustangwe have redonethe brakes, put in new carpet, dash pad, door panels, bumpers (they were missing). exhaust tips and cleaned and buffed. I have a one inch full folder of prior receipts dating back to 1983. probably will need a new gas tank.

Miles 86,213 are thought to be actual, but are exempt. As question being asked,floors, rockers,rails, and trunk are solid and do not need replacing. drivers door was replaced prior to 1982 due to a dent.
