1965 Ford Mustang Coupe Additional Info:
1964 (early 1965) Mustang project up for grabs. This is one of the cars that caused all the stir in April '64 and it's begging to be brought back to life! This one has the uncommon and desirable 289 4 barrel engines that made it the first of the High Performance Mustang offerings by Ford in 64.
As you can see, it needs complete restoration, but is a solid car overall that shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg like most. All frame rails are solid and floors have minimal rust in the normal places where you out your feet, but nothing major compared to most. I have most of the original parts that you'd need to put back together as well as a few extras. Originally a power steering car, I have the hard-to-find original Bendix set up as well as a manual setup if you'd rather that. Car, of course, would need to be taken on a flatbed and cannot be driven in its current state even though the previous owner had it running more recently on a bottle of gas. Fuel tank and pump are new, just need to be hooked up.
Car is located about halfway between Philadelphia and Atlantic City NJ. Originally a South Carolina car, it now has a current NJ title so there will be no problems at the DMV.
