1963 Ford Thunderbird Additional Info:
You are bidding on a Very Rare M Code T-Bird. This is one of only 26 that were built. I purchased this car about 30 years ago. It was painted red, although the factory color was chestnut with a white top. The 3X2 barrels were already removed and replaced with a factory 4 barrel. I put it in storage for 25 years until I could get around to restoring it properly. In 2012 I pulled it out of storage, the paint still shined. I put a new gas tank in it, a new Holley, new exhaust, brakes from the master cylinder back, had the transmission gone through and all fluids changed. I just had fun driving it that summer for a few hundred miles. I got busy and didn't start the restoration. Now another 4 years went by. I realize I just have too many irons in the fire and I would like someone to restore this car properly. It leaks engine oil, and smokes a little, (seals-rings). The power brake booster stopped working in 2016 and I parked it. The car has a power drivers seat, power rear windows, push button radio, clock, and skirts. The ideal buyer will want to restore this high dollar car back to the 3X2 barrel configuration. I have attached an image of a partial of the build sheet, (a mouse enjoyed the rest). I will not ship it so pickup is your responsibility. I have set the starting price very low to start the bidding early. Please e mail any questions.
