I bought this Ranchero about 15 years ago from the original ownerwithplans to customizing it heavily. I never got around to that project as is evident. This car runs and drives pretty darn good. The engine purrs like a kitten. I have kept it in my garage pretty much the whole time, and take it out and drive it around a couple times a year. You can see it's a little rough around the edges as far a the sheet metal goes, but with the availability of replacement parts on sites like DearbornClassics, and even Summit Racing and as good as it runs,as the years have passed I have found that I feel leaving it closer to original is probably a better move for this car. I would do it myself but I have other projects and I need my garage space.
I do not havethe title but I have the signed and notarizedbill of sale from the original owner of this vehicle.
