1968 Ford Mustang fastback Additional Info:
Nice 1968 fastback project car that started life as a Seafoam green car with black stripes with the v8 3 speed drivetrain. This color combo was very rare, I've read online that this was 1 of 864? Fastbacks in this color. I bought this as a project and I have not had time to mess with this yet. I don't have many details other than what the previous owner told me. He said the car was a race car for many years, then the owner decided to put the car back on the street. He paid someone to do the metal work and then he let some backyard shop do a terrible paint job on the car. The body is nice on this car but the paint is TERRIBLE. I have included pics of most all of the areas on the car, this car has zero rust left on it to repair. This thing needs a sand, some body panels lined up and a respray to make a good looking driver quality car. The interior is all there minus a few minor trim items. It has new seat covers in the car, a new dash pad is laying in, a new gauge cluster bezel is installed, a new headliner is installed and new door panels are laying in the car. On the exterior it has a a new Shelby tailight panel and it comes with some shelby style tailights. It has a new shelby style trunk and qaurter extensions already installed. All body panels on the car are nice driver quality, it has a nice hood scoop already installed. It comes with 2 used valances, new front and rear bumpers, 2 good headlight buckets. The firewall appears that this car was an air conditioned car, and I still have most of the AC parts for it. It also appears to have been a power steering car as well. I have a complete stock 1968 302 2 barrel engine and C4 transmission that has been recently started that will be installed in the car but the car will not be finished and driveable when sold.
This car is sold with a BILL OF SALE ONLY, I am in the process of getting a title for this car, but that takes time so I will hand over the papers that I have and I will let you follow up to finish the title process.
These are the things that I know about this car, I can make arrangements to show this car in person to any serious buyer. You can call me at 864-606-9600 for any other details. I will work with the buyer to help in shipping this car.
