I'm the ORIGINAL OWNER (it was in my fathers name because he co-signed for it for me but it's been mine since 1988).
About 7 years after purchase the engine and transmission were completely rebuilt to provide better towing power, so the mileage on this vehicle is about 80,000 miles on the original and the rest on the rebuild. This engine is strong and the transmission is as well.
The truck really is in amazing shape. It was a special Colorado program where the dealer would order an XLT then send it to a Bronco only shop to deck it out (think Eddie Bauer of sorts). As a result it came with a CB system, upgraded transmission, upgraded engine and a bunch of custom touches.
This has never been in an accident but had two minor claims regarding dent damage to the doors that occurred during icy winters. Nothing major.
There are only a couple very minor "issues" with the vehicle. The drivers side seat upholstery is starting to wear thin and the drivers side door has two small cracks in the bondo where the body shop had filled it when repairing the door.
If you know Colorado vehicles then you know that it's super dry here and we don't have the same problems with rust that most places have.
This vehicle was professionally detailed, hand waxed, all carpets shampooed and every service cleaned and serviced (paid $500 for the detail) prior to listing.
If you have any questions feel free to ask me.
