1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Additional Info:
This listing is for a one-of-a-kind restomod project! The vehicle was designed and built by the renown mustangclinic.com -- one of the most reputable classic car restoration shops in Europe.
The concept for this car began over 3 years ago when a client of ours in Texas -- who is in a wheelchair -- contacted us about building a truly unique restomod that had a classic 1967 Mustang exterior but all the comfort and reliability of a late-model Mustang. His rationale was that not only is he unable to be constantly tweaking and repairing it in the garage each weekend, but he also cannot be stranded on the roadside with it. He also wanted proper steering, brakes, and seat comfort. Truly a mix of old and new! We began experimenting and after much trial and error, this 1967 - 2012 Mustang twist was born. The end result is a vehicle that can be driven reliably coast-to-coast and still taken to the Ford dealer for use with an OBD plug diagnostic tool!
Unfortunately, during the build and restoration our customer lost his home to a fire and has decided to sell this amazing car.
At the present time, this car is located at a showroom in Germany. It can be inspected and test-driven there. For U.S. buyers, once you place a deposit the Mustang will be immediately prepared for shipment back to the States. It is currently titled in Texas.
Mechanically it is a stock 2012 Mustang GT with some minor ride upgrades -- like KONI adjustable shocks and a 3.5:1 locking differential. It has the original 2012 factory AC and traction control systems. You can easily add a turbocharger and/or change it to a manual transmission if you prefer. The car is amazing as-is, and there is certainly potential to upgrade it further; the difficult part is complete! We spent over 2-years and 2,000 hours as a team to perfect this car and bring the concept to life. This car is truly one-of-a-kind -- a 100% 1967 looking exterior with late-model Mustang comforts.
I prefer contact through the eBay contact page. For more information about the mechanics and build, you can call +48 888 330 440 – but please remember about time change in Europe. If you leave your contact information, we can pass it on to the U.S. owner for more information as well.
