This is a very well built 1926 Ford coupe with a highly chromed 289/auto trans. Beautiful pearlescent white paint and wine interior. New burgundy canvas top and visor cover. Runswell with no smoke or drips and shifts beautifully.I've been driving it to work on nice days. Good acceleration.Headlights, rear lights, brake lights and turn signals all work. Aooga horn. Stereo with CD, heater, windshield wiper. All metal except for rear fenders. Tinted glass, lots of chrome. New Wheel Vintiques 15"steelie wheels, Ford script caps, ribbed stainless trim rings and four new radial tires. The underside is as clean and well done as thetop side.Sway bars front and rear.Coil/shock set up on rear. Comfortable ride.Clean title and registration in hand. This was built as a traditional hot rod with a modern steering box.
Thelittle coupe is actually titled as a 1925 Ford Model T. Serial Numbers on Model T's, like Model As, were actually based on the cast number appearing on the original four banger engine. In 1925, Ford had some engines manufactured at branch assembly plants. It could takes weeks or months after the numbers were assigned for the engines to make their way into a vehicle. Because this car originally had a late 1925 engine (serial 12,626,XXX - which was manufactured at the then-new River Rogue plant in mid-November 1925),the carwas, at some point, titled as a 1925 despite the fact that the body is the larger 1926/1927 style. Of course, the original motor is long gone. Vin plate #on the boxed frame matches the title.
SOLD AS-IS and WHERE-IS. Buyer arranges and pays for shipping. Payment required within three business days via cash, wire or cashier's check. If you plan to pay with a cashier's check, allow time for the check to clear my bank before you have thecoupe picked up. It won't leave my garage until I have verified funds in hand. Would prefer to sell to someone willing to come take it fora spin, but understand if that's not practical. Will help load on my end. Will take any pictures you'd like, though It's hard to getwell-lit pics underneath. Happy to answer any questions. Warren at (two51) four63-eight393. Thanks for looking.
Car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction and pull the adat any time.
