1936 Ford 5 Window Coupe Mostly complete Additional Info:
I bought this car from a friend who drove it into a barn an parked it in 1982. The car had New York registration and unfortunately the registration has been misplaced so I'm selling it with no title but can provide a Bill of Sale.
About the car, I bought it with the I intention of leaving it almost exactly as you see so I started to work on it. The engine turns but the freeze plugs were rusted so the engine would not hold water. I removed the fenders to gain access to the freeze plugs and I got the two on each side of the block out. I was going to next address the plugs on the back of the motor...but I need to sell it.
The car has Buick nailhead (322?) with a v4 carb attached to the stock 36 transmission. The seller told me he put Zephyr gears in the transmission but I have no proof of that. Exhaust was 2 into one and I cut the pipes to get it off. I but a new starter solenoid on the starter but never tried to crank the engine with the starter. The car has hydraulic brakes and split wishbones. I bought a new brake master but no other work was done on the brakes.
This is not a piece of junk pulled from a field. If you want a 36 project this is a great opportunity!
