This was suppose to be my sons first truck but it does not have airbags (wife decision) so we are selling or trading up for one that does. Therefore OPEN to trades for a not super rusty 4x4 f series with airbags at least in steering wheel or a ford excursion. DOES NOT MATTER if running or needs engine work (so a non running truck and cash works for mine also) as long as it is clean (Gas or diesel) can put money towards something that has more value just send me pics of what you have and we can make a deal just want something to drive or a father son project truck. The truck is a 1988 ford f150 4x4 xlt larait power windows and locks. Good looking truck with 27,300 on odometer 127,300 is the actual mileage on a 5.8L 351 cu v8 original motor runs strong with limited slip differential. Recently done and the positives. BRAND NEW 31x10.5x15 TIRES ON FORD ALUMINUM RIMS AND CAPS and chrome lug nuts looks great. Under nieth of bedliner is clean some small scratches but not rusty.New 8ft pendaliner bedliner (most likely had an orginal one) with chrome bedliner tie down hooks. suspension is tight and bed rails are not rusty pretty clean under nieth. The frame and suspension pieces of the truck have been cleaned and painted a rubberized rust resistant semi gloss black that really makes a difference for the truck. This truck just needs a new owner to finish this little project the way they want it and would make a great starting point for someone or a backup winter truck. Has never been a plow truck but can be with its 5.8L v8 power and locking 4x4 hubs. The negatives the seat has some tears from aging no big deal put a seat cover of your choice on it. The plastic cover on steering wheel column is in glove box an easy fix just pop it back on just haven't had time to do it. The truck has a small exhaust leak in the exhaust pipe so if u dont mind a little exhaust noise its no big deal or fix it for 180$ ish dollars for a complete single exhaust pipe or go duel exhaust your choice. Lastly because of its age their is small amount of rust on the passenger wheel whell see pic and just under the door none on cab corner. And the drivers side has only small rust in cab corner none under door and a bubble on wheel whell. This truck would make a great work truck or plow truck so make an offer worst i can say is no just no low balls.
