This rare Elan edition has been used very little and babied but it does need minor attention! Loaded with many features and options!This one is equipped with power driver seat,power windows and power door locks (inop).It has tilt steering wheel and cruise control.It also has the uplevel Premium sound with upgraded Electronic AM-FM cassette with Dolby and a working power antenna.It also has the Autolamp System option plus keyless entry with illuminated keyhole (I have the door codes and it works) rear window defroster and electronic instrument cluster. Also equipped with electronic digital clock,factory alarm,exterior cornering lamps,leather wrapped steering wheel and power fuel door and trunk release.Even the gas and brake pedals show almost no wear!
This one is powered by a fuel injected 302 V8 with a automatic transmission.It does run ok but needs general maintenance.I would recommend plugs,wires,fluids changed,etc.The heater core is bypassed.The Cooper whitewall radial tires have lots of tread and are mounted on factory alloy wheels.It stops good but the rear brakes feel very tight.The Sand Beige cloth interior looks amazing for its age! The seats and carpeting are super clean and damage free! The headliner is sagging and does need replacement.All the interior lights work and the cigar lighter has never been used! The factory build sheet is under the passenger seat.The Sand Beige paint looks pretty nice for being 32 years old! The body is straight and very solid! The floors,bottoms of the doors and frame are all RUSTFREE! All the glass is clear and damage free.The original Firestone spare tire with jack assembly looks like its never been on the ground! The Ford manuals and booklets are included along with some notes from the previous owner.It does have the "Z" code 3.08 traction lock rear axle and is equipped with factory trailering package.The wiring kit is still in the original box located in the trunk.
