1968 Ford Mustang 63 A, Fastback Bucket Seats Additional Info:
This 1968 Mustang Fastback was disassembled some 5 years ago, sent to the sand blaster and then stored. Unfortunately many of the removed parts of what was once a complete car have disappeared during that 5 years, this is what is left. It has rusted from the bottom up,
Original Acapulco Blue, 289, Auto, Bucket seats, Blue interior 63A Fastback
The car rolls easily, its 289 engine and c-4 auto trans are included. Vin stampings on both aprons match the door plate, vin plate and title. Much of the interior survived including the buckets, fixed back seat and trunk divider, most fibreglass interior panels which are in great shape, full 5 pieces of belt line moldings. Condition of electrical components unknown. No keys.
Both original doors are included but neither has glass or guts. The FB gutter moldings look good and the waterstrip moldings are still screwed into the door frame. Front and Rear windshield channels are solid as are the trunk corners. Both rear quarter extensions are in place. The rear windshield is included, the trunk lid has a ding in the back side and rust underneath. The hood is very rusty underneath.
New repo front and rear valances are included with right and left fenders and right and left quarter skins.
Car has many great parts included. Clear IL title in my name . Ready for pickuWhen I picked up the car, the engine was at another location, and in the process of picking it up, PO dented or cracket the oil pan, so the oil leaked out in his pickup. So the 289 will need a new oil pan. Engine does turn over with a ratchet .Great candidate for resto since all damage is readily apparen, Or build a drag car with out cutting up a nice FB or convert your coupe into a fastback. Please look at all the pics, is you don't see a part, it is not included.
