Up for sale is a low mileage 1980 Shay Model A Ford Roadster made in a limited run. The car is asolid driver, with only about 8K miles on the original engine, that starts runs and stops very well. Underneath the Model A fiberglass bodyare Fairmont, Mustang and Pinto mechanics. The car was owned by an older woman who drove it very lightly, but didn't treat it like a trailer queen.It has the normal wearof a30 year old car- the passenger door needs some adjusting, carpeting is tired and it needsa cleaning.
Thewhitewall tires are olderbut still hold air. The car hassome normal surface rust on the running gearbut not extensive- it is a good solid driver car. It is missing the fake gas cap on the cowl. The roof and seats, including rumble seat, are still soft& pliablebut have a small chewed hole in them- the roof raises and lowers and the seat springs are still firm. Has the side-curtain set.All lights, both loud aoogah horns sound, speedometer, gas tankand turn signals work as they should. It has a radio and cassette player but I've never used them. Nice original trunk on back and has a removable fat-man steering wheel with a key.
