1967 Ford Mustang Additional Info:

This is my 1967 mustang coupe that my father and I put together. The good. There are WAYYY too many new parts and great things to list.highlights are.starts up without issues. It may take a few pumps but it has ALWAYS fired up. it runs REALLY well.no leaks.no rust.new suspension.Fuel tank has been replaced .all glass is in great shape. All windows and regulators work perfect.all new rubber.new alignment (although it does still pull a little)new exhaust. It does have AC and power steering options but both need to be hooked up.Paint is about 3 years old and from being outside does have some oxidation. I'm told this can be taken care of with a good detail and wax job.The paint is all black with zero flake.
It was a color change from the 60's style lime green. So a lot of detail went into sanding and buffing. The body lines up really nice and the metal is VERY straight.
The issues as best as I can tell. The windshield wipers do not work correctly. The motor pulls them down instead of up. I'm sure this was an issue with me just not connecting them correctly. But non the less. They do not work as should. The gear shift is a bit loose and will need tightened. There are chips from wear and tear (and from the wipers being installed incorrectly see the pic). I intended this to be a daily driver so i drove it and unfortunately got some chips in the paint along the way.there fuel gauge works when it wants to.some cluster lights do no work so when driving at night your speed is hard to see.the dash and cluster are older and cracking and faded in some areas. Not sure if this is an issue but as you can see there is no radio and no speakers although i did install the kick panels with speaker holes should you eventually want them. I also left the rear part of the car above the back seat with just the fiberboard so it would be easy to install rear speakers as well.Very little of the chrome was installed. I did this because I had the intention of making this ALL black. however the lower chrome was installed to help protect the paint and because it's older it will need to be replaced. ironically during the install it chipped the paint in a few places. (shown in picture)Most of the issues are VERY cosmetic.Mechanically is runs and drives great.Absolute pleasure to drive and cruise in.
From the Vin it was a california Car and there was VERY little rust repair.and what little there was. was repaired correctly and sealed. This car has a great foundation to keep rebuilding, make it something amazing and show worthy. or you can just drive it around like this and still get lots of compliments and feel great inside.
A lot of time and effort went into this car but it's just time to move on.I'm not a mechanic and had a lot of help rebuilding this car from the ground up but i don't know EVERYTHING so if you have ANY questions. please ask them right away. I promise i'll do my best to answer them or find the answer for you.
auction is no reserv, however, the mustang is listed locally.deposit is due 24 hours from close of auction and is non refundable.
