1968 MUSTANG SHELBY GT500KR CONVERTIBLE
- This beautiful, rust free Shelby tribute is a close copy of a rare combination. only 5 of the real Shelby convertibles in this color combinations came with the Cobra-Jet engine, top loader 4-speed, and 9 inch rear with 3.00 gears. This car has all of those parts, period correct.
- The engine was built with a hi-lift Crane cam, Edlebrock Performer aluminum heads, intake, and water pump. It's fueled by a Holley Street Avenger 770cfm 4bbl. this all adds up to 425+ H.P.
- Hooker headers into a Flowmaster 2 1/2 inch X-pipe exhaust system with 40 series mufflers and 3 inch dual tips. This car sounds as good as it goes.
- Original Shelby 10 spoke rims w/ Goodrich Radial T/A tires.
- Functional "Ram Air" hood.
- Original "Candy Apple Red" paint.
- Deluxe interior is "saddle" with the cobra snake embossed on the console cover. Console has original style Stewart-Warner "green stripe" gauges.
- Upgrades include a "Total Control" power rack & pinion steering system and MP power front disc brakes.
- This car has had the "Shelby Drop" suspension modification to improve handling.
This vehicle is being sold with a bill of sale only. It resides in Maine, where a title is not required with a vehicle of this age.
