We are listing for a frien, a very rare barn find 1925 Ford Model T delivery panel truck. The Detroit Newspaper had Standard Motor Truck Co. build 30 of these little trucks for corner drop off of newspapers in Detroit. The Ford Model T chassis was delivered to Standard Truck Co. and modified, a wooden delivery body was then built. The rims are actually wooden disc rims, 12 inch wheels. It has a standard Model T engine and transmission, Also stand front and rear suspension. This was parked in 1968 and at the time the owner stated that only 5 left in the world, not sure how many remain today. The truck really looks like a 3/4 scale version of the Model T. Truck runs well and drives well, will need some restoration, but overall very nice.
