1936 Ford five window coupe. This car was built from a restored original coupe. The body was rust free and there is no evidence that it was ever damaged. Except for the dash and the filled top, the body is original. The paint is older but still has an excellent shine and curb appeal. The top and one door were repainted when the top was filled. Front turn signals are mounted behind the horn bezels on the front. Stock tail lights with LED conversion. Stock spare tire mount. Reproduction 40 Ford style steering wheel Custom dash with custom fitted NOS old school Stewart Warner gauges and built in air conditioning outlets. Vintage Air unit with billet firewall pass through. New cast ram horn exhaust manifolds and new exhaust to the rear of the body. AM-FM stereo with remote control mounted in glove box with cd changer mounted behind the seat. 383 Chevrolet stroker, which was balanced and assembled professionally. Edelbrock aluminum heads, intake manifold, carburetor and valve covers. Joe Hunt Electronic ignition (Hunt magneto look alike), Roller rockers. Rebuilt 200R automatic overdrive. Nine inch ford rear, with Posey’s parallel leaf rear suspension. Superbell dropped axle with disk brakes and split original radius rods. New leaf front spring. Frame is powder coated and all lines are hard mounted to the frame. Battery mounted in the rumble seat with a side mounted cutoff switch. Four chrome American Racing Torq Thrust wheels 8” rears, 7” fronts. The chassis was assembled and highly detailed at Chuck’s Garage in Stockton CA. The stock seat was completely rebuilt and the risers are now gas shocks. The complete floor and car sides were covered with insulation prior to upholstery. Title is clear and the vehicle is licensed as a 1936 Ford. All new cloth and vinyl upholstery by Don Vigarino in Auburn CA. I will assist as needed with shipping.
