1968 Ford Falcon Futura Additional Info:
1968 Ford Falcon for sale!
This is a base '68 Falcon with the Front End of a '67 Ford Fairlane. There were only 2 years that these cars shared the same lines connecting the front quarter panels to the doors and this was one of those combos that works. It was also a year which had the vertical lights on the Fairlane and the first year the Falcon had the square taillights. It makes for a unique classic and I challenge you to find one like it!
Pros:
- It has the durable Ford inline 6 motor - No Leaks
- 75,250 miles (approximate)
- 3 speed transmission
- Converted from 3 on the tree to a floor shifter
- New Wheels
- Tires are in Very Good Condition
- New steering wheel
- Carpet was replaced by a prior owner
- New rear brakes
- Rear seat is in excellent condition
- Lights (high and low), horn, turn signal, blower, etc. all work
- Drives great! This was a daily commuter for me for the past year or so until I finally got a new truck that fits the family.
Needs:
- Front seat needs repair - there is a seat cover that will go with the car but there are a couple small tears in the lower portion of the front seat - may be repairable but not sure
- No radio
- Needs a new windshield - cracked and there is a very slight leak at the lower left corner that I noticed this fall (7+ inches of rain in North Idaho this October and some water dampened the driver side floor below the floor mat which ran down from the windshield from the constant rain)
- Could use some body work to clean it up - small patch needed behind front driver side quarter panel and ahead of driver side door (see photos)
I am selling it because we have a new child and I do not have the time or money in this new season of life to continue working on it. I would love to see it go to a good home!
