1967 Ford Fairlane 427 Side Oiler - Top Loader 4 Speed - Red/Red - 10,000 Original Miles

Have you ever dreamed of owning a 427 Fairlane well then this is your chance…..This 1967 Ford Fairlane GT was sold new in Kingsport TN on Jan 17 1967 to a Mrs. Marie Skelton. A few years later and with a new owner it was transformed into a Super Car. The transformation included replacing the 390ci with an ass kicking medium riser 427 Side Oiler Racing Engine (yes this is a Factory REAL FE 427 side oiler engine) with 2 Original 600 cfm Holley Carburetors and an original 427 HiPo dual point distributor (the points were replaced with Pertronix module), he Transmission was switched out with a 1969 Top Loader Shelby Transmission with a 12” Clutch and a racing Hurst Shifter, nbsp;the 3:25 Gears were changed to a 4:11 Trac Locker. Sometime in the late 80’s the car was taken off the street/strip and put on the car show scene with the original mileage recorded as 8,600 original miles. In the process of creating this outstanding Muscle Car, othing was cut up (meaning, o roll bar, o tied frames, o cutting of any metal once so ever), his car has been very well taken cared for all of its life.

This car started out as a 390 S Code 4 Speed 3:25 9” Ford that is Candy Apple Red with Red Vinyl Bucket Seat Interior with Center Console, ower Disc Brakes, m Radio, ual Mirror with Driver Side Remote, eluxe Seat Belts Front & Rear, T Package,and Power Dome Dual Hood Scoop Turn Signals. The car now has a Factory 427 FE Dual Quad Side Oiler with Top Loader 4 Speed and a 9” 4:11 Trac Locker Rearend. This Fairlane has all original panels, loors and glass. The pictures represent the body, aint and interior very accurately. The underside and trunk area have never been restored and the spare wheel is not the original, t is a 68/69 model (the car had the full set of these wheels on it back in the 80’s). The original broadcast sheet is still in the upper side of the rear seat as can be seen in the pictures.

This is an amazing Ford Fairlane that has only 10,000 original miles on the body, ery few owners and it shows. It has always been stored in a climate controlled storage environment, nd has never been for sale to the public. This Fairlane is so fun to drive and is ready for shows and cruise ins.
