This car was hand built by NASCAR legendary Crew Chief John Birosh with monumental attention to every detail to keep the build authentic to how a 32 Ford three window coupe street rod was built “back in the day”. Chromed original style Ford grille with crank hole, hromed radiator cap with Ford logo, hromed original style dropped headlight bar with Ford V8 trademark re-fabricated for a high boy installation with shock absorber mounts sporting period correct Guide Lamp Co. 682C style headlights with turn signals (real hot rodders don’t have to ask about Guide Lamp Co. 682C’s…). All the best parts were used in this build - no shortcuts, teel suicide doors click shut solidly with stock handles, orrect unchopped body with perfectly fitted roof filler piece, oll-down rear window, ully functional swing opening front windshield, utside top of door chrome rear view mirrors, eriod correct 1937 style bullet taillights, hrome Cragar SS mag wheels, ully functional cowl vent, lectric wiper, intage Air heater with functioning defrosters, 2 Ford boxed chassis, ront suspension is a Ford chromed drop axle with chromed hairpins, ear axle has QAE QA-1 (Carrera) coilovers, nd a stainless fuel tank. Power is genuine FORD with all engine work done by Danbury Competition Engines, egendary for their road racing, ircle track and drag racing engines (producing several NHRA & IHRA national records including the fastest naturally aspirated Ford Top Dragster), sing a classic Ford Windsor engine (like they used in the 60’s), troked to 383 c.i. dyno’d at 486 hp, dlebrock Performer RPM heads, ual Edlebrock “Thunder Series” 500 cfm 4bbl carbs sitting on an aluminum Edlebrock Performer RPM air gap intake, SD Blaster 2 coil with MSD distributor, ilodon oil pan, lectric cooling fan, alker Cobra Z all copper/brass “max cool” radiator and Sanderson Ceramic coated headers connected to a hand fabricated mirror finish stainless steel exhaust system with side turnuts professionally blended into the rear body. THREE PEDALS – (real hotrods don’t have automatic transmissions …) drivetrain is a five speed Tremec with a classic style Ford shifter, cLeod clutch and flywheel housing transmit power to a Ford 9 inch Winters positraction differential with 4:10 gears. Electrical system all done by hand with QuickWire and GM Weatherpack connecters, rofessionally mounted with easy, uick access behind a drop panel in the trunk. Panasonic digital stereo sound system with a custom built swing down mount which stows away up under the dash keeping the stock interior original clean look.
