Has up for auction a rare and beautifully restored 1929 Ford Model A Roadster pick up!
This fine collector vehicle was first sold and titled in Montemorelos Mexico where it spent practically all its life. I know this because with the automobile comes a complete history of documents dating since 1929. Even the original bill of sale showing the original owner. Additional Mexican documentation shows several later owners. I was amazed to find these treasures that were saved for more than 87 years!
It’s unknown when this beauty was restored but if I had to guess I’d say it was within the last ten years. Everything about it is the was it rolled off the line in 1929. The body is completely rust and blemish free. No body filler or damage anywhere. Everything is what and where it should be. The wheels, tires, paint finish and glass are immaculate. The sparse interior is also in great condition. Everything works as it should.
The underside is just as nice and solid as the rest of the vehicle.
The vinyl top is in “like new” condition as is the rear bed deck. The oak wooden deck rails compliment the truck nicely.
The original jacking tools, tool bag and crank are intact and of course go along with the truck.
The 4 cyl motor appears to be original to the vehicle but cannot state that with any certainty. If not original, its most definitely period correct. The odometer reads 33,041.
This is a Model A that starts every time and drives straight, strong and stops on a dime.
So if you’re looking for a rare Model A Roadster truck that can be driven anywhere and often, than this beauty is for you.
This is a NO RESERVE auction meaning the highest bidder when the auction end gets to own this rare and beautiful vehicle.
Best of luck bidding!
