The pony car that started it all decades ago! Here is a Stunning custom 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback with the 298 Cubic Inch V-8 and a C4 Automatic Transmission. This car has been in our family for going on 25 years. It has gone through extensive rework and restoration / modifications. Starting with the engine, transmission, front end, rear end all completely professionally rebuilt and improved. The body also went through extensive repairs bringing it back to near perfect condition. Custom (House of Colors) 3 stage Purple Paint and Added Chrome Louvers (Originally painted). Notice how the color changes with the different light (Grape to almost Black). NO BONDO! All the Chrome was either re-plated or replaced with new, including the tail lights and gas cap that were completely dismantled, re-plated and reinstalled. All new gaskets, weather stripping and rubber was installed. Purple Neon Lighting was added to the undercarriage and engine compartment. The entire interior was professionally redone with added upper and lower consoles. The car has Power Disc Brakes (on all 4 wheels), Power Steering, Shelby Mustang Sway Control and One Piece Chrome Export Brace. Chrome all over engine compartment and car making it a show piece. The restoration took well over a year to complete. The car has been shown in various car shows, including the Mustang Round up, Reno Hot August Nights, and Cool Desert Nights. It has won Best of Show, and Viewers Choice Awards.
This machine remains one of the most widely recognized, respected and desired nameplates in the automobile business. This Fastback delivers the bold styling, rear-drive performance and affordability that have been Mustang hallmarks for decades.
