1968 Ford Ranchero 500 Additional Info:
This 68 Ranchero is a good driver as is. I received it in a trade deal, and had intentions of making it our company delivery vehicle, as we are a salvage yard, I figured it would look great, all lettered up! But, my wife is the delivery driver- and she does't like it. at all. So, I am putting it up for sale. Comes with Disc brake spindles, an extra black dash cover, extra chrome rails for the bed, misc extra parts. The seat that's in it is not original, looks like it's from a 50's ford. I have a nice set of leather buckets from an 03 Mazda 6, if the buyer is interested, they can go in as well. The wheels are 2003 Mustang. Rear end is the factory 8". The engine is strong for original, still has the original distributor, carburetor, etc.. When I traded for it, I pulled up the carpet, and the floor pans looked good. I have since had it on the rack, and noticed the floor pans had been replaced (overlayed over the old ones). The floor pans are going to need to be replaced, the outer part of the torque boxes are rusty. The rear all looks good. There is rust repair in the tailgate, and the rear quarters. I have the trim and inner panel for the tailgate, I removed it to inspect for rust. As it is, this is a decent driver. The rust sucks, but it's all repairable. It goes down the road just fine, except the brakes, which work, but I intended on going to disc, so I didn't worry about it. Starts right up, all dash lights work, wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Please feel free to call or email any questions. Beyer Auto Salvage, our customer service number is 352-463-2002
