A really great looking and running Ranchero. You can drive this Ranchero anywhere, it is rock solid, runs and drives excellent and is completely reliable, fast and comfortable. I completely went through this Ranchero to make it a comfortable cruiser with enough power to get you moving when you want to.Mechanicals:1987 5.0 engine with Edelbrock intake manifold, new Edelbrock 1406 carb, new Pertronix distributor, coil and wires, new water and fuel pump with remotely mounted chrome fuel filter, new polished aluminum pulleys, new polished aluminum oil pan, new polished aluminum valve covers, new functioning side exhausts, new 80 amp alternator, new mini starter motor, new Power Products harmonic balancer, new aluminum radiator with shrouded electric fans, NOS OEM RAM AIR, OEM hood scoop with built-in turn signals, new hood tachometer, 3:50 rear, new drive shaft with new u joints and yoke, new slotted,vented disc brake kit, new master brake cylinder, new power steering ram, new power steering control valve, new power steering pump, all new ps hoses, radiator and heater hoses, new upper control arms with new bushings and ball joints, new steering link, new control arm strut bushings and of course a fresh front end alignment. New 235 R 60 15 tires on aftermarket rims. Freshly rebuilt AOD transmission with Lokar shift arm and TV cable kit hooked up to an OEM floor shifter with a custom console.
Body:The car was parked for many years with the windows ajar causing the rear floor pans to rust, I replaced the rear floor pans on both sides and undercoated the car. Fresh Wimbledon White paint and body work, not a show job but still very good. No dents, no rust. Custom 30/70 tonneau cove, all matching custom door panels with all new handles, Mustang Ricarro seats with matching 3 point seat belts,custom rear curtain, covered dash, new carpeting, original headliner. Custom floor console with OEM floor shifter. USA-1 satellite radio mounted on custom rear floor console. Rare delay wipers, brand new upper roof rail rubber molding. Remote drivers mirror and matching passenger side mirror, very good condition rear chrome moldings, all the glass is good, windshield has no cracks or stars. Brand new freshly rebuilt heater box with NOS heater motor and heater core. The bed has been spray coated. All the bumpers are in good condition with no rusting.
The bad. The muffler shop cracked the paint at the bottom front corner of the passenger fender when they were installing the side pipes, aside from that the body is straight with no dents.
