On the exterior on this Pinto for sale has gone through a complete body restoration. To put the cherry on top on the body, this '70s Ford Pinto received a custom $5,000.00 Porsche blue paint. The drive train setup powering this Ford Pinto monster down the strip is a Ford 393 stroker engine that has been fitted with 4340 crank and rods to add support and durability. Connected to the rods are Keith Black forged pistons. The custom Crane 700 roller camshaft is used in a pair of Canfield heads. Performance parts used on this '76 Ford Pinto drag setup are; Edelbrock Super Victor manifold, 950hp Holley Carburetor, Probeshaft rockers, MSD 6AL 2 step, electric water pump, CSR electric fan, 2 electric Holley fuel pumps and fuel cell. The C4 transmission was built by ATF including a 8" TCI torque convertor, line lock, trans-brake, Turbo Action linkage, PA bell housing, drive shaft loops, 35 spline Strange axle with the rear setup for ladder bars and tying this drive train up is a 9" Ford rear-end w/ a 4.86 Spool. Rubber on this Ford Pinto consist of big wide rear Mickey Thompson tires on Weld Racing wheels and the front tires are also Mickey Thompson and are sitting on some skinny Weld Racing wheels. When you step into the cockpit of this Pinto you feel as if you are ready for professional racing with nothing but a steering wheel, dash w/ power switches, Auto meter gauges, driver seat and a tubular cage, everything else has been taking out to squeeze the lightest weight possible.
