Up for auction is a 1932 Ford five-window coupe with a freshly built 392 Hemi putting out 425 horsepower. Entire build has less than 500 miles on it and is covered in all new parts. If you’ve ever built one of these cars you know how much time and money goes into them, especially with a complete Hemi rebuild. Over $30,000 invested, could be yours for much less. This 1932 Ford demands attention everywhere it goes and has plenty of power to put a smile on any gear heads face. I have my eye on something new, so time to let this one go. Here are the details:
-Completely rebuilt 392 Hemi with all new internals done by Outlaw Racing Engines, heads done by Hot Heads, Isky Racing cam, and supported by a Weiand High Rise Intake (2x4) with dual quad Holley racing carburetors. Motor was broke in and dyno tested at 425HP. Engine starts every time and absolutely rips!
-Fresh 350 transmission with shift kit
- Brand New frame: reinforced throughout body and undercarriage
-Glass body (thick and sturdy with no damage or alterations)
-Metal 32 grill
-Ford 9-inch rear end
-New Boosted Dual brake cylinder under the driver side floor with access panel inside the cab.
-New Gear Drive Speed and Custom lakester exhaust with turnouts
-New aluminum radiator
-New Holley Racing fuel pump with all new fuel lines
-New brake lines
-All new chrome front suspension and rear four bar with coil-overs
-New disc brakes all around
-New fuel cell in the trunk with “dummy tank” for the traditional look
-Big and little tire combo
-New tuck n’ roll seat
-Late 60’s style Chrome steering column
-New glass with electric windows installed, but not currently wired
-Fiberglass hood included, but is not pictured.
-The list goes on and on...
-I’m sure I am missing a lot of things, but the pictures give you a great idea of everything that is done and still needs to be finished on the car.
Overall the coupe is a great hot rod. Motor runs smooth at 70mph and still has plenty of power left in the motor to break the tires loose going down the highway. As you can see in the photos, the car still needs to be finished. It could use fresh paint and the interior needs to be completed (carpet, panels, speedometer, windows wired, door handles) I have been driving it as is, as the car was built to drive and is an absolute blast! With a little bit more work this coupe would be a complete showstopper and easily worth $45,000 or more.
