Ford trucks are finally making some noise on the classic truck scene and this is a great time to jump on board. This 1985 example is a great find. The F-150 Lariat is a short bed, has been garage kept, and is about as original as you will see. The miles are correct by the title at 90903 and I truly believe they are correct. This is a North Carolina truck purchased there and stayed there. There is NO RUST on this F-150. The super strong 5.8L V-8 starts and runs perfectly. The automatic transmission shifts great through the gears. Thisis a factory AC truck and it still blows COLD! The Lariat package in 1985 gave the customer carpet and a cloth seat with faux wood grain dash inserts. Those features on this truck still look great. The paint is about 90% original. It looks like the right side of the bed has been paint since new unlike the rest of the truck. There are no signs of accident. The original paint looks great at about 10 feet but the closer you get you can see in some spots where the blue is fading. Please view the video to see this. The bed of the truck has a plastic liner I have not removed it to see underside. The bed lineris from the same era as the truck so I assume its been there awhile. The Ford F-150 has the factory steel wheels and a good looking set of Goodyear Wranglers that have plenty of life remaining.
