1988 Ford F-150 f-150 Additional Info:
For your consideration is my 1988 Ford F-150 with only 94K miles, the matching camper is included as well. It is an all original classic, everything on the truck is stock except for the radio, which has been upgraded to a Pioneer and is a very tasteful addition. You would never believe that this car is almost 30 years old. The original paint has a nice shimmer, the slick red interior is near flawless, and the truck bed has a bed liner installed. Overall, for it's age the exterior is in good condition and the body is all there, but it does have a few minor flaws. Even with these slight flaws, for the age of this truck it looks great. In the video below I will show you exactly what I am talking about regarding these issues, however, when you take a few steps back the flaws become very unnoticeable and overall the truck looks extremely nice.
When I drive this bad boy on the road I get countless looks, it's not everyday you see an older bodied F-150 in the condition that mine is in. The condition along with the stock retro paint style really catches the eyes of people on the road, it is fairly common to have someone compliment me while driving it. Mechanically, the truck drives straight, it starts right up, and the engine runs strong. The truck has two gas tanks but only the front one works, this means that the gas moves from the front to the back tank. This makes the fuel gauge fluctuate on turns and driving up hills, and it makes it hard to know how much gas you have, I have run out of gas before because of this issue. To be safe I like to always keep the tank a quarter full, this keeps me from having any issues with the fuel gauge, and never running out of gas. Also, the break light has just turned on, the breaks feel a bit spongy and I suspect leaking the breaks and adding new break fluid should do the trick.
Overall, the car is reliable and fun to drive, it drives straight and is a really fun and good looking car to drive around. The interior is really nice, the headliner does not sag and the seats have held up perfectly. The speakers sound awesome, and every little feature works. The AC does blow, however it blows warm, it needs to be recharged. All in all, this is a really unique and retro styled truck, it is getting increasingly hard to find this body style F-150 in good condition with low miles like mine.
