Welcome to my auction (NO RESERVE)Here is an opportunity to acquire a 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 4 door automatic survivor in nice condition. In my past car collecting, I have always purchased rare, hard to come by, different looking vehicles and limited editions.
With the help of mechanics and auto body friends, I have created vehicles to my liking. With a little planning, you could revive this Fairlane to your vision. I have to sell this vehicle because I have too much going on and I know it will be years before I can get to it and enjoy it. I have owned the vehicle for approximately 7 years. I will be describing what it needs as honest as possible. Keep in mind, I am not a mechanic or auto body person. Anything I miss, you can ask a question and I will answer as soon as I can. Thank you.
MILEAGE: unknown. In seven years I have drove less than 50 miles.
MOTOR: I was told it was a 302 - 8 cyl. I have replaced the carburetor with a new 4 barrel Edelbrock.
Motor and transmission runs excellent. Brakes, excellent. Body is almost complete and ready for paint. All electrical in working condition. Some areas of the vehicle need some extra attention to the body. Rear passenger quarter should be replaced. I will be supplying you with 2 panels. Low profile fiberglass reinforced hood scoop will come with it. WHAT YOU MAY NEED:New battery, I have only started vehicle 3 times a year and drove it on occasion.Front End Ball Joints or Bushings.Wheel AlignmentRight Door Linkage - Door still opens and closes fine.No spare tire
I was told passenger side of floor board needs some welding. Another shop told me it wasn't necessary. I have not confirmed either.
Trunk has a small hole on side that could use repair.Rear passenger glass is scratched------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Car will also come with addl. parts of whatever emblems I have, door locks, OE Radio and antenna, and other misc. parts related to the Fairlane.
